Sr. WordPress Developer

Job Description:

We are looking for Sr. WordPress Developer to join our team. You will work as part of a web development team that is responsible for all aspects of ongoing web development projects. You must be well versed with core php, database architecture, and programming (Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, XML.)

Technical Skills: Experience working on the following areas:

  • – 4+ years experience on developing WordPress
  • – Basic understanding of front-end technology, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
  • – Using and/or creating APIs including REST and SOAP
  • – Proficiency in cross-browser compatibility development, testing, and QA 
  • – End to End proficiency on developing a website from scratch
  • – Experience in theme and plugin customization
  • – Experience in woo-commerce customization
  • – Hands on experience with any E-commerce website will be an advantage

Job Roles / Responsibilities:

  • – Designing, developing, and optimizing secure and scalable multi-tier web applications.
  • – Testing the website and identifying any development problems and hitches
  • – upgrading PHP to newer versions for existing sites
  • – supporting already developed php applications for maintenance and any changes required, understanding existing code
  • – Designing and implementing new features and functionality
  • – Ensuring high-performance and availability, and managing all technical aspects of the CMS
  • – Helping to formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin.
  • – Design, build and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable front-end code.
  • – Build API and plugins which will communicate with backend services
  • – Problem Solving & Debugging in the Live Environment
