Job Description:
We are looking for a tech-savvy person with a keen eye for design for the position of front end developer. Someone who can utilize HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript to develop effective user interfaces on the company website and mobile apps released to the public. The successful candidate will also be responsible for creating innovative solutions to web design issues to help make the website more visually appealing and enhance usability.

This requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
- – Build web applications with web development best practices.
- – Transform app designs into front-end code with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- – Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
- – Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical requirements or UX design
- – Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine performance optimizations
- – On-site search engine optimization (SEO)
- – Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code
- – Stay plugged into emerging technologies and industry trends
Technical Skills: Experience working on the following areas:
- – Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
- – Proven work experience as a Front-end developer Minimum of 2 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, jQuery and JavaScript.
- – Working knowledge of Shopify will be an added advantage.
- – Familiarity with browser testing and debugging
- – In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment)
- – Understanding of layout aesthetics and Responsive layouts with smooth interactions, transitions and animations.
- – Familiarity with software like Adobe Suite, Photoshop and content management systems
- – An ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
- – Excellent analytical and multitasking skills
- – Excellent Communication Skills
Bonus points if you have…
- – Passion for design
- – Knowledge of Continuous integration/deployment
- – Experience with Figma, Invision or Sketch
- – Experience working with e-commerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento,Wordpress or Hybris
